Asheville Market Insight, February 2025

February can be an interesting month for real estate - everyone's still stuck in winter but buyers and sellers are eagerly anticipating the spring selling season. Interest rates continue to lead to hesitation for some buyers so it will be interesting to see how inventory and supply numbers shake out for March and April. Consistent enough demand led to upward movements in average and median sales price in February. Closed sales were down which is really a reflection of the activity, or lack there of, that largely took place in January.  

What's next on the horizon? Sunny spring days, more market activity, local buyer and sellers and buyers from the broader regional, national and international markets. If you know someone who needs help buying or selling please pass my name along. It would mean the world.
