Asheville Market Insight, July 2024
In July for the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area we saw a modest increase in year over year average sales price with days on market, overall inventory and supply all showing increases. Increases in those last three categories indicate more sellers have their home on the market while buyers are still leery of home and market conditions. A continued softening of original list price received tells us some sellers are still overpricing their homes and, depending on the specific property, some buyers are able to negotiate more than they have in a long time.
Thinking of selling or buying? Fall can be a great time for either. Let's chat.
