Asheville Market Insight, June 2024
June real estate in the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area saw a slight uptick in new listings and pending sales year over year but we also saw a noticeable drop in closed sales. Average and median prices went northward as the market's tug of war between persistent, albeit lowered, demand and an overall supply shortage continued onward. Increased days on market and a marginal drop in percent of original list price received revealed a market in which buyers were taking their time and acting rationally.
