Asheville Market Insight, March 2025

It's nearly May and March feels rather far behind us. The March real estate story around Asheville is one we've largely heard recently: Increasing inventory and increasing days on market. Average sales price did soften a bit for the third month in a row, however, most buyers aren't full speed ahead as economic uncertainty and high interest rates have many buyers idling. Yes, there's been a palpable slow down in the month of April as people figure things out but I do expect activity to pick back up for the next quarter plus.
