Asheville Market Insight, November 2023

"Happy holiday, happy holiday, while the merry bells keep ringing, happy holiday to you." Hard not to choose the Andy Williams version of that song. Bing Crosby does the trick too. As we wrap up 2023 and we set team and personal goals for next year here at Engel & Völkers Asheville, I'm interested to know what goals my friends and family have. Do you have financial goals, health and fitness goals, travel goals? Do you have real estate goals? 

With interest rates easing a bit and the Fed signaling multiple rate drops in 2024, I believe the Asheville market will be, as my neighbor says, "roasty toasty." Stronger buyer demand will reveal itself as rates head south and there may be an uptick in sellers as those who have been holding onto low rates secured during the pandemic may finally opt to sell. It should be busy all around come spring which leads me to my next comment: prepare yourself and find the window to sell or buy that complements you and the market. Happy to chat further about that.
