Asheville Market Insight, November 2024
November proved to be a "make-up" month for those who lost time and opportunity to buy or sell in October because of Hurricane Helene. New listings and pending sales were well up from October as sellers got back to selling and buyers got back to buying. Closed sales were down year over year and month to month from October as many of the properties that went under contract in November will likely close in December. Signs of buyers continuing to claw back some power are evident in the slipping stat of percent of original list price received which can also be seen as a symptom of more inventory and demand that may not be fully matching the increased supply, at least for the moment.
I wish you Happy Holidays and hope you get to relax with friends and family. Cheers
